So yesterday I did not have to work at all- not at Treasury or at Blueberries- and I was so excited. Ran and I went to Tacoma to the Glass Museum. First, I have to say I was so proud of myself because I found it without getting lost AND I found my way back to I-5 without getting lost!! YIPPEE!! (It is not a rare thing for us to get lost when we go on little adventures) Okay, so the Glass Museum was pretty cool. They have this place where visiting artists actually work and you can watch them. ( FYI- Chihully is going to be the guest artists starting sometime in August!) So we watched for that a bit- very interesting. Then we went to see the exhibits. One was very very impressive- loved it. The other was very disappointing, ut that's okay we still had fun. After we were finished at the Glass Museum we headed to IKEA! I am a total IKEA junkie and I hadn't been since Feb. so I totally needed this. and what a surprise- they re-arranged and such so things were different plus they were having thier big twice a year sale. So yeah- we ate some Swedish meatballs and had loads of fun looking at all the stuff that we are going to buy someday. Here are some picts.
